Brenda Sue Watson

Brenda Sue Watson, age 78, of Princeton, KY passed away May 8, 2022, at Caldwell Medical Center in Princeton, KY.  She was the daughter of the late Robert and Gladys Gilchrist.  She worked as a Correctional Officer for the Kentucky State Penitentiary.  She enjoyed gardening, collecting angels, being outdoors but most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of First Baptist Church of Princeton.

She is survived by her sons: Jeffrey Gilchrist (Jonathan Vickery) of Madisonville, Bobby Gillespie (Sheila) of Princeton, and Mark Gillespie (Heather) of Princeton; her daughters: Tammy Dupass (Donald) of Princeton, and Kim Kickasola (Sam) of Brookport, IL; her grandchildren:  Brandi Trusty (Seth), Joshua Hudson (Samantha), Heather James, Brittany Blane (Matt), Kris-Tina Dye (Jordan), Daniel Dupass (Miranda), Brandon Gillespie (Courtney Atkins), Mark Gillespie Jr. (Kaylee), Amber Gillespie, Lexi Gillespie, Christopher Mullinax, Jason Mullinax; and 19 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Brenda Watson was preceded in death by her daughter: Annette Gillespie, her brother: Bill Gilchrist, and her sister: Irene Shepherd.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Pastor Kyle Noffsinger officiating.
