David J. OCampo, 46, of Princeton, KY died Friday, March 4, 2022, at Centennial Hospital, Nashville, TN. He was born the son of David OCampo of Fort Wayne, IN and the late Rebecca “Becky” Conkling. He was an Army Veteran serving as Sergeant in the infantry division, serving three tours in Iraq, last stationed out of Ft. Drum, NY. He took great pride in knowing that he was loved by all his soldiers. David was proud to be a follower of Christ. When in high school, David had a love for wrestling that continued through the years. He had a love for motorcycles as well. He enjoyed spending time with his boys playing Xbox and enjoying his grandbabies.
He is survived his wife, Angela OCampo of Princeton; five sons, Joseph Hill (Lacy) of Princeton, Austin Lane (Victoria Smith) of Princeton, Jeremiah Thomas (Kara) of Sullivan, IN, Kaleb OCampo (Whitney) of Ft. Riley, KS, Ashton OCampo of Princeton; his sister, Xanthia Gaines of Oaklawn, IL; and ten grandchildren, Ryker Hill, Titon Hill, Bella Hill, Athena Hill, Ares Hill, Spencer Lane, Dexter Lane, Aubryn Elyse Flowers, Cooper Dean Thomas, Amora Annetta Sioux Thomas.
In addition to his mother, David is preceded in death by his grandson, Tobias Lane.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Northside Baptist Church in Princeton with Bro. Israel Brooks officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, March 12, 2022, will be from 11:00 am until the funeral hour at Northside Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Meeks Cemetery. Goodman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
