John William Osborne Jr.

John William Osborne Jr., of Kuttawa, a beloved husband, father, and brother, passed away on November 13, 2024 at Baptist Health in Paducah. He was born on November 7, 1957, in Evansville, Indiana, the son of the late John and Nora Osborne.

John devoted his professional life to the maintenance field, demonstrating a steadfast work ethic that earned him respect and admiration from colleagues. After a fulfilling career, he embraced retirement, allowing him to devote more time to his family and the hobbies he cherished.

An avid outdoorsman, John enjoyed fishing, golfing, and hunting, activities that allowed him to connect with nature and create lasting memories. 

He is survived by his devoted spouse, Patricia Osborne, and his sons, Shawn Osborne (Christine) of Kuttawa and Bryan Osborne of New Jersey. John also leaves behind his brothers, Don Osborne (Laurie) of Lyon County, Rob Osborne (Robin) of Madisonville, and Jeff Osborne (Melissa) of Georgia, as well as his sister, Sheryl Bruner of Lyon County. He was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren and a great-grandfather to four great-grandchildren.

His legacy also encompasses the memories and lessons he imparted to those who loved him deeply. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his siblings, Buddy Osborne, Randy "Red" Osborne, and Joann Wallace, who are fondly remembered.
