Malchom Ray "Ryder" Hammond

August 7, 1936 — May 28, 2022

Malchom Ray “Ryder” Hammond, age 85 of Princeton died Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Caldwell Medical Center in Princeton.  He was born the son of the late Eugene Hammond and the late Amorette Cash Hammond.  He was a member of Cedar Bluff Baptist Church.  Everyone that knew Malchom, knew him to be a Godly man.  He enjoyed golfing, training hunting dogs and he loved quail hunting.  He was a member of Quail Unlimited.

Malchom is survived by his wife of 64 years: Anna Hobby Hammond of Princeton; his son: Mike Hammond (Suzann) of Shreveport, LA, his daughter: Cecile Mitchell (Roger) of Princeton; his grandchildren:  Rachel Mitchell, Amanda Irwin (Tim), Sarah Wooldridge (Steve), and Matt Hammond (Catie); and his nine great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers:  Robert Hammond, Joe Hammond, and Louard Hammond; and his sisters:  Charlotte Marvel and Louise Odom.

There are no services scheduled at this time.

Goodman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
