Todd Franklin Milstead, age 56, of Caldwell County passed away on March 31, 2025, at his home with his loving wife, Tanya, by his side after a long and hard-fought battle with illness. Todd was born on June 15, 1968, to his parents, the late Peggy and Tommy Milstead in Princeton, Kentucky. He was a member of Eddy Creek Baptist Church.
Todd married Tanya in 1993, during their 31 years of marriage they shared two wonderful children: Zakkary Eubanks of Fredonia and Shanae Beavers of Princeton. His family meant more to him than anything and he was unendingly proud of his two children and all of their accomplishments in life.
Todd worked as a welder for many years. He was an extremely hard worker, dedicated and determined to provide for his family. He made many friends along the way, he was just the kind of person who drew people in and could talk for hours. Everyone who knew Todd knew that he was an extremely kind, gentle and peaceful person, and that he loved his family very much.
Todd was a master at quick witted humor, he could make anyone laugh. He loved music and spent a lot of time listening to his favorite musicians. You could often hear him singing his favorite songs while picking at the guitar. He loved playing guitar with his son. He also greatly enjoyed making hand crafted art to share with those he loved, as well as spending time with his family.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He has been a rock for his family. A devoted husband, a friend to his children, and a wonderful papaw to his beloved grandchildren, Braylon Beavers, Brody Beavers, and Sydney Eubanks.
In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren, Todd is survived by his brother: Ben Milstead (Kahty) of Medford, OR; his sisters: Missey Orange (Wayne) of Caldwell County, Amy Cox (Richie) of Princeton and Lisa Milstead (Darren McGregor) of Cadiz; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by his nephew, Christopher Orange.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at Goodman Funeral Home, located at 1032 West Main St., Princeton, KY 42445. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm with burial to follow at Eddy Creek Church Cemetery.
